Soldiers Home Road Reconstruction

CURRENT PHASE: DESIGN
PHASE 1: 2028-2029
PHASE 2: 2029-2030

*A public design input session for final plans will be held in early 2025

As part of the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan, the Soldiers Home Road Reconstruction project seeks to address continuing community growth in the northern areas of West Lafayette. This project will include road reconstruction, a new multi-use trail, and new sidewalks. The multi-use trail will connect the Nighthawk, Sagamore Parkway, and Happy Hollow Trails to the Northwest Greenway Trail.

Next Moves

Grading of the asphalt path is currently underway. We would like to remind residents to stay out of the construction zone while the project is ongoing.
