Salisbury Street/Grant Street Redevelopment Project

Detail2

Duration

Phase 2: March 2023 – October 2023

About

The Salisbury Street/Grant Street Redevelopment Project aims to connect our trail systems from north to south, improving access and safety for multimodal travelers. The project’s second phase, which includes Grant Street redevelopment, began on March 13th.

Next Moves

Salisbury Street is open from Northwestern Avenue to Leslie Avenue. Crews are continuing trail and grading work north of Leslie Avenue.

Our goal is for our city to be safer and more beautiful than it was before each of our projects began. West Lafayette is committed to ensuring the remediation of our natural landscape features and the safety of our community.

Landscape

Appropriate street-sized trees will be placed throughout the improvements.

Access

One of our main objectives is to ensure that everyone who desires access to public sidewalks can do so safely.
