Cherry Lane Realignment Project

November 2022 THROUGH September 2023

Cherry Lane will be realigned to accommodate Purdue University’s new Pete Dye Clubhouse. With this project, the area will also be enhanced with a new roundabout, multi-use trail, more lighting, and new stormwater infrastructure. Cherry Road closure will begin in March 2023 between Northwestern Avenue and McCormick Road with the project expected to wrap up by September 2023.

Next Moves

Cherry Lane is now open from McCormick Road to Northwestern Avenue. Construction of the Pete Dye Clubhouse will continue into 2024.

Due to rising construction costs, the Cherry Lane multi-trail connecting Northwestern Avenue to McCormick Road is being postponed. The City of West Lafayette will re-bid the project to be constructed in 2024.
