You’re Invited!
Be part of this exciting moment in our city’s history as we celebrate the start of construction on the new West Lafayette Public Safety Center – a project shaped by our community and built for our future.
This new center will bring together our Police and Fire Departments in a modern, sustainable, and welcoming facility that reflects the values of West Lafayette. From improved emergency response to expanded public space, this is a center designed with and for the people it serves.
Date: Tuesday, July 15
Time: 2:00 p.m.
Location: Site of the future Public Safety Center
(Current West Lafayette Police Station – 711 W. Navajo St., West Lafayette)
Enjoy a brief program followed by the ceremonial groundbreaking.
This isn’t just any groundbreaking, it’s a community celebration, and you’re invited to be part of the excitement!
Cool Treats: Beat the summer heat with Kona Ice on site, serving up delicious shaved ice to keep everyone refreshed.
Get Involved: Don’t miss our Community Engagement Activity, where you can leave your mark.
See the Tools: Kids (and kids at heart!) will love checking out the Fire Truck and Police Vehicles parked nearby. Climb in, snap a photo, and chat with the teams who keep our city safe.
This is truly a community event – a chance for neighbors, families, and friends to gather and help us celebrate. We can’t wait to see you there!
