On February 18, 2026, the West Lafayette Traffic Commission received a presentation from American Structurepoint regarding the Traffic Impact Study prepared for the SK hynix project.
The study evaluates existing traffic conditions, projected traffic volumes associated with the development, and recommended roadway or signal improvements needed to maintain safety and mobility. The analysis includes both long-term operational traffic and anticipated construction traffic.
Representatives from SK hynix also outlined construction traffic control measures, including designated truck routes, on-site traffic management strategies, and coordination with local and state agencies to minimize disruption to residents and nearby roadways.
The City will continue to review the study findings and monitor implementation of recommended improvements as the project advances.
